Here is a card I made this morning. Ever since SU! announced we were going to have a Build-a-Bear line of stamps and Sizzix products, I was so excited! I ordered them as soon as they came out, but as life goes, I have been so busy, I had no time to play with them. Today is a ped day so I did not have to run around with the kids as much (no skating until this afternoon) I therefore decided to play with my toys!!

Here is a little witch I did with the Sizzix Build-a-Bear dies... I love her!!! I am so going to be playing with these for a long time! My 5 year old is going to have a Build-a-Bear party for her next birthday, I can't wait to do all the inveites and treats for the kids!!

Halloween - Mère-enfants *** Mother-Child Class

Here are the projects we did in the Halloween mother-child class I held on Sunday. Each child (except for sibblings) received the Scary Skeleton SS and did these projects. There were 10 children, ranging in age from 3 to 7 and they all worked so well!!

Thanks again to Patti for the idea of these little Petal card treat pouches! Gotta love the Big Shot! The SS used for these is Batty for you.

They also made 3 lolli pops and a card whch they embossed.

I made a little pumpkin basket (show in previous post) for each child and they were very happy!

Here are 3 of the projects that the girls did in class a few weeks ago!!

This one is a little bag cut out of our window sheet papaer with the Big Shot!

Here is a little card taken fro the Holiday mini. I love the pumkin SS and the car took about 5 minutes to make! We also did 2 of the pumkin stamps and I showed the girls how you can turn the idea for a card into a 5 minutes scrapbooking page!

Here is a card for which was inpired by Patti, what a talented lady! The spider was her idea! Thanks Patti!

Here is the inside of the card, a big pop-up spider made with the 3D ball die from the sizzix!

Here is the 5 minute scrapbooking page mad with the same ribbon and stamped pumpkins as the 5 minute card!

We celebrated 2 of my kids' birthdays yesterday so I was very busy getting everything ready, including making their cakes! My soon to be 7 year old picked a monkey cake in honor of her sister (I always call her Monkey)!

My son is a hockey fanatic and a huge Habs fan so it was only fitting to do something to do with hockey so I decided to make him a Montreal Canadiens Puck cake!

So no time for my stampin' studio but I still wanted to show you my creations!

Lively birthday!

So, two of my babies are growing up next month! My son will be 10 and one of my daughters will be 7 . Here is the invitation card I made for their BBQ/ pool party! I used in colors but did go with a retired set of Lively Little Ones, I just thought it was cute with the kids and the dog in the pool (our 100lbs puppy is always swimming with the kids!)

Make & Take 2

Here is the second M&T we did a quick card done with the movers and shapers for the big shot. Obviously we used the heart shapers and the matching heart punch. The SS is Priceless. Colors are Bermuda Bay and Certainly Celery

So, I spend most of my life running around like a chicken with its head cut off (really I wonder about that expression but you understand what I mean) and therefore when the day of my open house rolled around and it was about 4pm and I still had not designed or prepped my M&T for 17 people, I knew I had to do something that required little prep work. I already knew I wanted to use the big shot, so here is what I went for:

This is a bag made with the Fancy Favor Bigs Xl die. The SS used is Hello again. It seriously takes less than 2 minutes to put the bag together, then all you have to do is decorate it!

Comme je passe la majorité de ma vie à courrir comme un chien qui se cour après la queue, il n'était pas surprenant lorsqu'à 16heures le jour de mes portes ouvertes je n'avais toujours pas conçue ou préparé mes Make & Take. J'avais déjà planifié me servir de la Big Shot et mon manque de temps a solidifié cette pensée. Voici le premier projet que nous avons fait, un petit sac crée avec le Bigz XL die petit caprice. Ça prends litéralement moins de 2 minutes à réaliser le sac. Ensuite nous lAvons décoré avec le jeux d'estampes Salut à toi .

When I first recieved the new Razzleberry Limonade DSP I thought I had t cover up a Lemon Mango tea tin with it, I thought the copors were perfect!

On top of being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, I am an Epicure Consultant. Epicure is a great Canadian company that makes wonderful spices, dips, rubs, sauces, teas (just to name a few products) and has a a great cookware. Anyway, their teas come in these great tins to keep the tea fresh. They are perfect for altering. You can even keep them and use them for other gifts too!

I made this on Wednesday and it could really be used to sort anything you like, mail, photos, bills, recipes.... I decided to amke a space for each of my children and seperate photos I was to scrapbook. I used the new Thoroughly Modern DSP from SU becasue it amtches their new organizational line and I already have tohe new file folders! (You can see them a bit at the bottom of the top picture). I used new In Colors Bermuda Bay and Soft Suede as well as rose red. I will offer this course and will soon be posting the details!

Open House

I totally forgot to take pictures of the girls having a good time at the ope house but here are 2 pics of what was left the next morning... The top picture is of the projects table and the bottom one is what is left of the retired items for sale and old cattys for free!

I think everyone had a good time and I want to thank everyone who took time to come over, you made the evening a great success!

I also have to say 3 special thank yous... First to my Stampin' Up! mommy Catherine Côté who came over and helped with the make and takes so I could take care of my guests and answer questions... Thanks Môman, could not hve done it without you!

Second to my friend Stephanie who made these amazing cupcakes with a white chocolate buttercream strawberry icing. They were just delicious! Thanks Steffy!

And finally, I have to tell you about a friend of mine who a few years ago decided to go take her chocolatier course. She is now makes the most amazing chocolates! Here are very quick little cards I amde at 5am on the last day of school for some of my daughter's teachers and school staff. There are just 3X3 very siple little cards. I amde them to match the little past it holders I amde nthe night before (BTW, Tahnks to my husband who came down to my studio to help me-- I wanted to be done by 9pm to be able to watch the Jon & Kate plus 8 special .. :( )

Once all was done, I put htem in little cello bag and this is what it looked like. Just a little something to let them know that I appreciate all that they do at school! The letters on the post its are thei initials!

Teacher's gift class

Here is the class I held for Teacher's gifts. We made a little pen holder, a post it holder with pen, a bookmark with hodge podge, a card folder which held four cards for the etacher to be able to send, all of which were made with the teacher's initial, and a thank you card. Oh I am going to miss that pacific, blue, it is such a beautiful color!!

I have to thank Vicki Zoras for the folder pattern and idea!

I know it has been an eternity since my last post, spring is always crazy, wrapping up hockey season, end of school year, spring break... etc... My lack of posting does not mean I haven't done any projects, just that I barely have time to take pictures of them and then actully post them. So I have decided, I will at least throw the pictures on it and if time allows, I will come back and comment, if not, at least I will be somewhat caught up on showing you what I have done!!

Here is a little box I made with the great new Sizzix Big Shot Box #2 die. WOW! This box is done in less than 3 minutes. The only thing that took more time was cutting out the image of the Yummy for your tummy. Gotta love it! I then took little swiss chocolates and covered them with DSP in Pink Pirouette and Kiwi Kiss!

Le mari de ma grand-mère est décèdé cette semaine et nous allons aux funérailles aujourd'hui. Voici la carte que j'ai faite pour ma grand-mère. J'ai repris la carte Vis Pleinement de la convention de cette été et j'ai changé le souhait et le poinçon. Petite carte rapide, faite en moins de 5 minutes.

J'aime beaucoup le jeu Inspiré de la Nature car il est très versatile et peut être utilisé pour toutes sorte d'occasions en carte et il fait même de très belles pages de scrapbooking.

This si a little set I amde for one of my figure skating coaches. A friend of his had a little baby girl and her said he would give her gift cards and I offered to make a cute little packaging for it. Here is what I did.

I think the bag is adorable and I really cannot take credit for the idea, it was shown to us at convention this summer by Linda Hanson (she makes such beautiful things - I tell you, they have such creative talents at the SU head office!)

I also made him a onesie card and a little box to hold the gift cards!

Here is a top note bag. There are several of these posted a bit everywhere. They are very easy to make witht he top note die from the Sizzix. It makes a really cute little treat bag, it can even fit a little gift card.

Noël est maintenant derrière nous et que nous reste-t-il? Des beaux souvenirs et sûrement de belles photos! Quelle meilleure façon de les mettre en valeur que de faire un bel mini-album de Noël. Voici un album confectionner à partir de la trousse simply scrappin' I wish. L'album peut mettre en valeur 10 photos

J'offrirai cet atelier mardi le 3 février à 19h15. Le coût est de 30$ incluant la moitié de la trousse simply scrappin'. Si vous désirez une trousse complète le coût sera de 40$.

Christmas is now behind us and we are left with wonderful memories and hopefully great pictures. What better way to display those pictures than in a Christmas mini-album. Here is an album madef rom the I Wish simply scrappin'. The album can display up to 10 pictures.

Stampin' Up! has a several page spread in December's Country Living Magazine. To go along with it, they put out this special kit to make these 6 photo ornaments as well as several tags and other ornaments . Skating Card*** Carte Patineuse

I wanted to make a card for my daughter's competition today but I had very little time so I went down to my studio with 10 minutes to spare. I had this card and paper already cut on my table from this week's card element set, so i just grabbed a chipboard frame negative, inked it, staped and colored my little skater, a little bow, some dazzling diamonds, 3 oval punches and here we are!

Skating Competition Season has started!

So here we are again,the regionnal competitions have started. Before I left my daughter with her coach to warm up I had a little chat with her, and told her how she just needed to smile, skate her program and try to finish with her music. I am so proud to say she did just that. Regardless of what the placement was going to be I was so proud and told her she could be so proud because she did her best, I unfortunately think she is starting to understand the whole competition thing and medals (she placed every time last year and I have been telling her these are shows everyone gets a turn at medals since I do not want her to feel the pressure) because she said to me she was hoping to get first place... I knew she could not as a little girl who skated right before her was extremely strong. Anyway, result came in and she placed second. She was the youngest skater in her group. We are very proud of her!

Gotta love the simply sent card elements! I had some time Wednesday morning and I thought I would try one of these simply sent card elements I bought way back in July! So I pulled out my ink pads, my stamp set and looked at my watch.... 45 minutes later, I had 9 cards! I am always making cards for my classes but I never end up end up having extra cards made to actually have one when I need one last minute. Now I do! These kits are so great, you buy the stamp set once and then as many packets of card elements as you want and voilà!

J'adore les nouveau simply sent card elements! Mercredi matin j'avais un peu de temps et j'ai décidé d'essayer un des elements que j'avais acheté au mois de Juillet. J'ai sorti mes tampons encreur et j'ai suivi les instructions.... 45 minutes plus tard, j'avais terminé les 9 cartes!

Je monte beaucoup de cartes pour mes ateliers mais je ne prends jamais le temps d'en faire en surplus pour moi, je me retrouve donc sans carte lorsque j'ai quelque chose dernière minute... plus maintenant! J'ai des cartes!!!

Voici un livre de recette que j'ai fait et que j'ai l'intention de donner à mes enfants à Noël (j'en ferai un pour chacun d'eux et les remplirai de leurs recettes préférées). Il pourrait également être réalisé pour contenir les recettes familiales, ou celles de votre grand-mère, il pourrait aussi être utilisé comme album photo ou de scrapbooking puisque le titre a été réalisé avec la Sizzix, il peut dire ce que vous désirez! Il fera parti de ma nouvelle cédule de cours que j'afficherai cette semaine!

Here is a recipe book I will give my children at Christmas (I will make one for each of them and fill each with their favorite recipes). It could be made to hold cherished family recipes, those of your grandmother, it could also be used as a scrapbooking album or a photo album since the title was made with the Sizzix it can be made to say whatever you wish. It will be in my new course schedule coming out this week.

Punch Pals card class

Here is a class I held nearly 3 weeks ago. It was designed so that the girls would go home with present for their kids' classes, a card and gift for the teacher and a little extra (and also a whole lot of material to make more of everything).

Il était conçu pour que les filles repartent avec des sucreries pour les classes de leurs enfants, une carte et un petit cadeau pour l'enseignante et quelques petits extras (avec aussi beaucoup de matériaux pour recréer le tout à la maison).

Voici une photo des prix offerts lors de mes ateliers, inculants des petits pots remplis de Jelly Belly roses pour chaques participantes, des tampons encreurs, des trempettes, des portes-chandelles et un certificat cadeau de 50$ de marchandise SU.

Calendrier 2009 -- Calendar Class

Here is a calendar class I gave last month. We made a beautiful 2009 calendar and 3 minicards with DS envelops (made quickly with the Big Shot). It was such a success, I will be offering it again. This would be such a great handmade gift for Christmas, an office exchange, a teacher's gift... (Although the picture is of a French calendar, it is also available in English)

Decor Elements

Can I just tell you that I love my decor elements. Here is just 2 of them I have put up. The first one is quite obviously the word Family in chocolate chip. We have many pictures in our house ( I am a photoholic) and recently we have decided to put all dark frames filled with family pictures on our staircase wall. When we did this I told my husband we just had ot put the word Family there. It looks great! The photo is a bit off but it was hard to take a picture as if I am in the stairs it really close and if I am on the main floor, I am really low compared to this. Anyway, I figured you get the picture!!

The second one is of the Spooky Spider. We saw this at Convention and they had put it like this, on a huge jar. So off to Wal Mart I went and got the jar! I will fill it with goodies for Halloween, I just have not gotten there yet. September is always a crazy month between school meetings, skating and hockey... among other things so I am no where near Halloween yet!! Anyway, wouldn't this little guy look great on a window.... It comes in 3 sizes and also in white!

Voici les Éléments décor de SU. Je m'amuse à les installer un peu partout! Le premier est évidemment le mot Family en couleur pépite de chocolat. Lorsque nous avons accroché les cadres de photos de famille foncés sur notre mur d'escalier, j'ai dit à mon mari que nous devions mettre le mot family là. J'aime beaucoup l'effet!

La deuxième photo est d'un jarre à biscuit énorme avec la Spooky Spider en noir. Elle vient en 3 formats et aussi en blanc. Ne serait-elle pas mignogne dans les fenêtres pour l'Halloween??

Le journal d'Harmonie

My first grade daughter's class has a mascot named Harmonie. It is a little Giraffe that goes from home to home with the students and a journal accompanies it so that the children can record what they do with her. I offered to make the journal for her class this year. I was running a little late and started this on Sunday night. I used the new chipboard binder from SU (which I have fallen in love with, I now see so many uses for this book....) and a Simply Scrappin' kit to cover it. The giraffe stamp is from the Bundle of Joy SS. I used Modge Podge everywhere in order to make it more resistant since a lot of little hands will be handling it!

La classe de première année de ma fille a une mascotte qui se nomme Harmonie. C'est une giraffe qui se promène de maison en maison avec les élèves et elle a un journal qui la suit pour que les enfants puissent enregistrer les aventures d'Harmonie. J'ai offert de faire le journal d'Harmonie. Il est un peu simple car j'étais un peu à la course dimanche soir. J'ai utilisé un des nouveaux cartables en carton agloméré de SU que j'adore! J'ai trouvé tellement de choses que je pourrais faire avec ces cartables! Le l'ai recouvert avec le Simply Scrappin' kit d'hôtesse de l'an passé. L'estampe de giraffe viet de jeu Bundle of Joy. J'ai recouvert le tout de colle Modge Podge pour le solidifer car il sera manipulé par plusieurs petites mains!!

This is how busy I have been. Two weeks ago I went to spend a few hours at my upline Catherine's house with my sideline Geneviève. We made 2 cards together and this is one of them. We actually saw it on SCS and reproduced. The set is Party Hearty. So better late thank never, I am showing it to you today!

Je suis vraiment très occupée de ces jours-ci car j'ai fait cette carte il y a 2 semaines et je n'ai le temps de vous la montrer qu'aujourd'hui. Alors il y a 2 semaines je suis allée passer quelques heures chez ma marraine SU Catherine avec une de mes 'soeurs' Su, GEneviève, et nous avons fait deux cartes, dont celle-ci. Nous l'avions vu sur SCS et l'avons reproduit. Le jeu est Celèbre en grand.

Les portes-ouvertes** Open House

I know my open house was a week and a half ago but life was so insane between then and now! The day after I left for my Weekend to End Breast Cancer which was an incredible experience. I will tell you more about it as I start my fundraising for next year. Then the day after the walk, we left with the kids for 3 days at Lake George and the morning after we got back was back to school madness! So here I am! I got all my stuff from the new catalog and I am so happy to make lots of projects with it all.

These 3 pictures are of projects from my open house. The top picture is of a lollipop flower planter. The second is of little purses I made, each held a Stampin' Up! lip balm (I must thank Cindy Major for the pattern) and each guest received one.

The third picture is of the make and take which was made with this year's Ronald McDonald set. For each one of these sets sold (it is available in French and in English) SU donates 2$ to Ronald McDonald Foundation. All 4 stamps from this set fit perfectly inside the new scallop square punch.

Me voici enfin à vous présenter les photos de mes portes ouvertes. je sais, je suis 10 jours en retard mais la vie a été si occupée! e lendemain de mes portes ouvertes je suis partie pour mon Weekend pour Vaincre le Cancer du Sein, une expérience incroyable dont je vous reparlerai en plus de details quand je commencerai ma levée de fonds pour ma prochaine marche. Le lendemain, nous sommes partis avec les enfants pour 3 jours au Lac George et nouss ommes revenus la veille de la rentrée scolaire!

Alors me voici, de retour. J'ai reçu tout mon matériel du nouveau catalogue et j'ai tellement hâte de faire plein de projets avec!

En attendant, voici 3 photos de la soirée portes ouvertes. La première est d'un pot de fleurs-suçons.

La deuxième est des petites sacoches que j'ai faites pour chacune des invitées. Elles contenaient des baume-lèvres de Stampin' Up!. (le patron venait de Cindy Major).

La troisième est du projet que les filles ont réalisé. Il était fait avec le jeu Dites le Simplement qui est le jeu Ronald McDonald de cette année. Il est disponible en français et en anglais. Pour chaque jeu RM vendu, Su donne 2$ aux oeuvres Ronald McDonald.

Weekend to End Breast Cancer

I was away this weekend walking 61km in the Montreal Weekeend to end Breast Cancer. We were 2250 walkers and we raised over 6 million dollars! It was an incredible experience and I will tell you more about it later. I am now taking a couple of days off with my family to enjoy our last days before school starts! I will be back with you on Wednesday!

Flower Fusion Canvas Bag

While at Convention is Salt Lake City I saw these great canvas bags that some ladies had made with the Flower Fusion and the Priceless stamp sets. I had to make one for myself. While in Maine last week, I picked up some canvas bags at AC Moore and today I went to my upline Catherine's to borrow her Pricesless set (I have not received mine yet) and stamp some bags (I have to say we did more projects and it was such a fun time with her and Genevieve). I got back home and put on the ribbons and the flowers. Here is the end product!!

Rainy Day Fun*** Un jour de pluie

We are back home today from a beach vacation with the kids. Unfortunately, we had a lot of rain over the last 10 days. It did not stop our fun though. We did all sorts of fun activities and one of them is we went to a Paint Your Own Pottery place. This is what I made, a plate to serve food at my workshops with my logo!

Nous revenons aujourd'hui d'une vacance à la plage avec les enfants. Malheureusement nous avons eu beaucoup de pluie au coours des derniers 10 jours. Nous nous sommes quand même bien amusé, nous avons fait pleins d'autres activités. Mardi dernier, nous sommes allés peindre de la potterie et voici ce que j'ai fait: une assiette de service avec mon logo pour servire de la nourriture pendants mes ateliers!

I have to say, the only downfall to that wonderful tool is that its reach is limited so imagine my extreme level of happiness when I say this baby at the store!!! Just had to have it. Here is the tote they gave us when we checked in. This picture really doesn't do it justice as I took it on my hotel bed but this bag is GORGEOUS!!! And, to make it better, the tote was filled with gifts for us... 3 stamp sets, the new catalog, convention program, pins...etc...

This is an 8.5 by 8.5 scrapbooking page which will fit perfectly in the new 8.5X8.5 on board album that SU is offering this year! The SS is Flight of a Butterfly whic SU! gave to us at convention.

Ceci est une petite carte réalisée avec le jeu Inspiré par la Nature. J'adore les envelopes coordonnées!

This is a little 3X6 card that we made using the Inspired by nature SS. Gotta love the matching enveloppe!

Voici une autre carte. Comme dans la page de scrapbooking, nous avons utilisé le poinçon de bordure festonné(tout le monde doit avoir ce poinçon!). Remarquez aussi le nouveau ruban 1 pouce gros grain pépite de chocolat! J'adore tous les nouveaux rubans!

Here is another card we made. As in the scrapbooking page, we used the scallop border punch (everyone needs to have this punch!!). Notice also the new 1 inch double stich grosgrain ribbon in chocolate chip. I so love all the new ribbons!

Yesterday morning SU told us to be in the hall early, at 7:30am. So we got here and they introduced the Stampin' Up! House Band. WOW! WOW! WOW! This band was so amazing, they had us dancing at 7:30am!! I knew Su ahd some creative people but let me tell you they have really musically tatlented people as well. I am so bummed I did not bring my camera that takes videos. I will try to find someone who did so I could show you.

Anyway, while taking a break from dancing, there was some swapping going on, BTW I have to let you know that the lollipops were a HUGE hit (MErci Gen) and I swapped over 160 of them in the first two days so I am all swapped out. So, this really nice lady from Rancho Cucamonga California was swapping her cards and some that her children made. They were so beautiful and she was so nice that she let me take pictures of her kids'cards and even gave Catherine and I her cards. Here they are. Thank you Andréa, you and your mom were such a pleasure to meet!

Several walks on stage take place at convention, at different times and for different reasons but always to honor demos for their acheivements, be it sales, recruiting, founders' circle, yearly sales, career sales, etc. Anyway, this morning they honored all demos who sold over 20 000$ this year, by increments of 10 000, yes a few ladies (3) did sell over 100 000$. Anyway, I got to walk on stage for selling over 20 000$ this past year so I would like to take this moment to say a BIG HUGE thank you to all my customers for allowing me this great opportunity!

Durant la convention, plusieurs personnes 'marchent sur la scène' . SU honorent plusieurs démos pour leurs réalisations, leurs ventes annuelles, leurs efforts de recrutement, les ventes en carrières etc... Aujourd'hui j'ai eu l'opportunité de monter sur la scène pour célébrer le fait que j'ai vendu plus de 20000$ de produits SU cette année. Je voudrais prendre cette opportunité pour dire un gros merci à toutes mes clientes qui ont rendu ceci possible pour moi!!

This one is a little mini album made with love notes and enveloppes. Ceci est un mini album fait à partir les billets doux.

Ici, un petit signet. This is a bookmark with new ribbon and chipboard.

Finally, a little bok and a flower made out of ribbon with added glitter. Finallement, une petite boite avec carte. La fleur est faite avec un nouveau ruban et des paillettes!

OK, I know these are not the best pictures but the lighting is not the best in our hotel room (the room however is great!!) So this first picture is the cover of the new catalog... notice the scalloped edge, just like our new punch... Honestly, this picture does not do it justice! The catalog is TOTALLY AWESOME, all the new products (pictures to follow) are great and the stamp sets are so beautiful...

Convention Here I Come!! Vers la Convention!!

It is finally here, the Stampin' Up! 20th Anniversary convention. I will soon be making my way to Salt Lake City, Utah in order to attend. It is customary during these kinds of gathering for demonstrators to bring SWAPS, meaning one makes several example of the same project to exchange with other demonstrators and come back with many different projects and ideas. Here is what I am bringing to SLC. They are flower-covered lollipops.

Before I go any further, I have to say, a HUGE thank you to a very talented young lady, Geneviève Caissiée, who, first came up with this idea to cover up these lollipops with cardstock, and then went on and made me my very own template with my info in it so I could make my own. MERCI Gen!
I had to change the design a bit since I cannot take anything that will be retiring. I opted to make the top with the five petal flower punch using 4 of the new in colors: Tangerine Tango, Pink Pirouette, Baja Breezea and Pacific Point, and a stamp from a new set called Fresh Cut. I added a little brad, inked the sides and Voila! Thank you, thank you Geneviève!!

Very Simple wedding card

As stated in the previous post, I have been in a time crunch so unfortunately I did not ahve tons of time to make a fancy wedding card for my DD's teacher. With only about 5-10 minutes to spend, here is what I did. It is very simple, it uses whisper white and Brocade Blue, I embossed the white with the textile folder and ste stamp is a bella!

Just a little note to all the teacher's out there, specially kindergarden teachers: THANK YOU! My daughter just had the very best kindergarden teacher ever. She did such a wonderful job, was so patient and made my daughter LOVE school. A kindergarden teacher is a child's first contact with school and it so important that that contact be a good one. Thank you so much for taking care on my little girl!! MERCI!

Another productive morning

So, it was another early morning, 4:24am to be precise and in the studio by 4:35am. I had to make cards for the secretary, the principal and 2 teachers, I wanted to make the same little pencil holder for my DD's teacher as I had made for my son's yesterday and I wanted to make a wedding card for my DD's teacher who is getting married this summer. Anyway, here is everyhting I made this morning!

5am teacher's gift

I am nothing if not last minute, and really, it is not for a lack of organization, it is because I always seem to try to pack 36 hours of things to do in 24 ! Anyway, I got up at 5 am to make my son's school secretary a little card to go with her gift anf a little present for his teacher to go along with the gif certificate I got her. So here is the card which was made in about 6 minutes. Gotta love those oval punches, they can make a card in no time!

Here is the little add-on for my son's teacher, it is a glass jar, covered with paper and ribbon, filled with crimped old olive cut up CS and it holds pencils with little charms. I gave her her gift certificate in the little pizza box we made at the Tart & Tagny class a few weeks ago, it ift perfectly!

Well, I better go, it is another early morning to make my DD's school presents before I have to be at school at 6:30am! Have a great night and thanks for stopping by!

Tart & Tagny Demo**Atelier Tart & Tagny

Voici l'atelier de ce soir. Chaque participante recevait le jeu Tart & Tagny, un paquet de papier Pique Nique et 2 verges de ruban ligné orange (en plus d'un petit pot de confiture aux fraises et rhubarbe, gracieuseté de Jeanie). Voici les 4 projets que nous avons réalisés:

Here are the 4 project that we made during tonight's workshop. Each participant received a package os the piknik DP, the Tart & Tagny stamp set and 2 yards of orange stripped GG ribbon (Oh, and a little jar of strawberry rhubard jam curtesy of Jeanie)!

Le premier était cette petite boite de style pizza (merci à Geneviève Caissiée pour la conception du patron).

The first project was this little pizza box (thanks to Geneviève Caissiée for the creation of the pattern!).

La deuxième était cette carte. Je suis restée dans les couleurs ton sur ton pour aller avec l'estampe d'orange, Un petit ruban et un petit sentiment et le tour est joué.

The second project was this little pop up type card. I did everything tone on tone to go with the orange stamp. A little ribbon, a sentiment and voilà!

Le troisième était ce petit pot de confiture pour lequel nous avons fait une étiquette avec le jeu d'estampe Labelicious et un morceau de ruban ligné rouge. Le dessus du pot était recouvert d'un poinçon pétoncle et d'une image de fraise. Toutes les images de fruits on été recouvertes de versamark et de poudre à embosser claire.

The thirs was this little jar for which we made a label using the Labelicious SS and attached it with a piece f stripped red GG ribbon. The top of the jar was secorated with an old olive scallop and a strawberry stamp. All the fruit images were first colored and stamped and then covered with versamark and embossed with cear EP before being punched.

Le dernier projet était cette carte avec une popsicle 'pliant' sur le dessus. L'intérieur du popsicle contient tous les détails de l'invitation. Le popsicle est collé sur une base de 6X6.

The last project was theis little card with a folded popsicle on it. The inside of the popsicle contains all the invitation info. The base is a 6X6 card.

As you saw I went to Dominican Republic with my husband kast week. We left Sunday morning and here is a page I made before we wleft. I just wnated to leave a little something for the kids. This is a picture that was taken on the first day of school in September 2007. I only had a few minutes to make it so I grabbed a Simply Scrappin' kit and here is what it turned out like!

Fun in the Sun** Punta Cana

I know I have been absent for a while, but here is a good reason, I was on vacation with my husband in the Dominican Republic. Our second vacation alone with no kids since we got married almost 10 years ago!

I missed my kids so terribly and I can't tell you ho happy I am to be home tonight and able to hold them and kiss them like crazy!!

Before leaving I was also very busy making wedding invites for a friend. I will try to post a picture when I get a minute!

Yes, that is my husband and I up there! I had not gone parasailing simce I did it in Greece almost 16 years ago! It was fun but I have to say not as amazing as in Greece, the driver in the Dominican Republic was not as fast as the Greek one had been!

I would say taht when I scrapbook, I love to add layers upon layers of paper and CS and lots of embellishments, but the thing is that takes time and since I am so short on time, I end up not making any pages so now I have decided to try to make these very simple 20 minute pages so at least I get some done. This one is obviously of my husband. I took that picture inLunenburg, Nova Scotia 2.5 years ago when I went along for a few days on a business trip of his.

My Skating Journal ** Mon journal de patin

Here's a little book I made today. Whenever I skate, my coaches always have so mamny things to tell me to remember whether it is new moves to learn or just a way to execute a dance. Eversince I ahve been on medication for my back, my memory has not been the greatest, so I decide to amke myself a little skating journal. I made it from 4X6 cue cards inside and the chipboard for the covers and everything through the Bind-it-all. All other supplies aside from the stamp (Glideabella) and the gingham ribbon are Stampin' Up!. All the papers and CS are from Crew Girl Simply Scrappin'! and the S chipboard is from Simon Lower.

Now my daughter wants me to make one for her, hers will be even better!

Voici un petit livre que j'ai fait aujourd'hui. Quand je patine, mes entraineurs ont toujours pleins de choses à me dire et je les oublie souvent, j'ai donc décidé de me faire un petit carnet que je trainerai avec moi et j'y mettrai mes notes!

I'm in! My upline and I got in! we are off to Salt Lake City in July for the 20th anniversary SU convention!! YAY!!!! We reserved our plane tickets and hotel over 3 months ago!! We are so ready!!

My marraine SU et moi sommes maintenant enregistrées pour la convention SU à Salt Lake City au mois de juillet!! YAY!! Ça fait déjà trois mois que nos billets d'avion et notre hotel sont réservés!!!

Sweetest Boy Ever*** Le plus adorable petit homme au monde!

I could not sleep this morning so I got up at 5:20 and went down to my studio. After spending about 1 hour cleaning it up (I made another 60 skating cards for last night's Club laureats- I will post about that later) here is a 12X12 page I made. It is a very simple page but it has a ver sweet story behind it.

This year at Christmas my son gave me such a sweet present. We open presents on the 25th in the morning, after Santa has made his visit during the night. However, on the 24th at night, my son really wanted to give me something, he just could not wait. A few weeks before, my huband had gone Christmas shopping with my son and as it turns out, my sweet litytle boy had taken money out of his piggy bank and asked his dad to take him to our LSS so he could buy me a gift card. So on Christmas eve, he hands me this card in which he wrote "You ae the best mommy in the world. I love you" with the 10$ gift card in it. I just about melted, he is such a thoughtful little man, he is the best son in the world.

So a few weeks ago I went to our LSS and bought some papers to make pages about him and I. This is one of those. Thanks Buddy! Mommy loves you so much more than you know! XXXOOO

Je ne pouvais pas dormir ce matin alors j'ai décidé de descendre dans mon studio et après avoir passé près d'une heure à nettoyer (j'ai fait 60 autres cartes de patin pour les lauréats du CLub hier soir- je mettrai un post pour ça plus tard!) voici la page que j'ai réalisée. C'est une page bien simple mais avec une belle histoire derière elle.

Cette année à Noël, mon fils m'as fait un cadeau qui m'a beaucoup touché. Nous ouvrons habituellement nos cadeaux le 25 au matin, suite à la visite du Père Noël pendant la nuit. Mais cette année, le 24 au soir, mon garçon voulait absolument me donner son cadeau, il ne pouvait plus attendre. Quelques semiaines au paravant, il avait été magasine avec mon mari pour Noël et ce que je ne savis pas est que mon adorable petit homme avait sorti des sous de sa banque et avait demandé à son papa de l'ammené chez Scrapbook Centrale pour qu'il puisse m'acheter une carte cadeau. Alors la veille de Noël, il me donne une enveloppe avec une carte qui dit 'Tu es la meilleure maman du monde. Je t'aime' avec une carte de 10$ dedans. Mon coeur débattait si vite, qu'il ait pensé à moi comme ça. Je suis si fier de mon garçon et de son bon coeur, c'est le meilleur fils au monde!

Donc, il y a quelques semaines, je suis allé chez Scrapbook Centrale et avec ma carte cadeau j'ai acheté des papiers pour faire des pages sur lui et moi et celle-ci en est une! Merci mon ange, maman t'aime plus que l'univers!XXXOOO

Girls' Skating Show ** Revue sur glace de mes filles

This weekend is my two daughters' figure skating show. Last night was the first representation and I have to say I was so proud of them. They both did awesome! It was really cute to see them both. My yougest was in a cowboy outfit (think Jesse fro Toy Story) and my oldest was in 2 numbers; One was a French Can Can number and th other was a Go Go number (think 70's- these boots are made for walking). I will have pictures later.

Anyway, when unable to sleep Friday morning, I decided to make some little cards to go with the flowers for the skaters. So here are some of the models I came up with. They are all 3X3.

Cette fin de semaine est la Revue sur Glace de mes filles pour le patin artistique. Je suis si fière d'elles. Elles ont toute les deux tous très bien patiné lors de la première représentation hier soirMa plus petite est costumée en petite cowgirl (comme Jesse dans Histoire de Jouets) et ma plus grande fait deux numéro, un en French Can Can et l'autre en GoGo (these boots are made for walking). Je vous montrerai des photos d'ici quelques jours!

Lors d'un matin sans sommeil, j'ai décidé de faire des petites cartes pour aller avec les fleurs pour les patineurs. En voici quelques exemples. Ce sont toutes des petites cartes de 3X3.

My Daughter's Creations

My 5 year oldd daughter came home on Tuesday afternoon and saw the little purses we were making at my workshop that night and she wanted to make some. All I did is score the paper and show her how to fold it. She folded them and decorated them all by herself (I just put the tacky tape behind the ribbon, but she cut it and placed it all on her own). I think she is very creative!! Good job Cocotte!

Mardi après-midi, lorsque ma fille est revenu de la maternelle, j'étais en train de faire mes projets pour mon atelier et elle a vu les petites sacoches et voulais en faire. Voici ses deux créations. Je n'ai que fait les rayures pour les plis, elle les a assemblées et décorées toute seule. Je suis bien fière d'elle!! Bravo Cocotte!

I know this may not be the best definition but I wanted to finally try photostich (which I have to say has been on my computer forever but I had just never tried it). Anyway, here is a 12 X12 page I made in a flash today. I just wanted to do something with the stamp set and paper the girls got for my mother's Day workshop. And I wqanted to do it quick. This is the simple page I came up with. All materials from SU.
